Acupuncture originated in China over 2400 years ago and has spread across the world, firstly throughout Asia and in more recent times across the West.
Our areas of special interest are Stress and Anxiety, Women's Health; IVF support, irregular menstrual cycles, painful periods and menopausal symptoms and chronic conditions, including; lower back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, headaches and migraine.

Cupping
Ancient to Modern Medicine
We use Cupping in conjuction with the other treatments we offer if we feel it is required. Cupping is found worldwide and has been in existence for thousands of years. In traditional use it has been used to treat a variety of conditions, including; high fever, pain, chronic cough, indigestion and headaches, amongst other conditions.
Modern usage focuses largely on the treatment muscular pain and discomfort. Cupping has become a go-to therapy for sufferers of tightness and restriction. Commuting and working in an office based job may make some muscles weak and under used, whilst other muscles can become tight, resulting in pain e.g. back, neck and shoulder stiffness.
Sports people including Olympians, Swimmers, Weightlifters, Crossfitters, Yoga practitioners, Martial Artists and Gymnasts, all use Cupping regularly to release built up tension to enable their bodies to work more efficiently.
